African-American Parents for Purposeful Leadership in Education is parent organization that advocates for students of color to have positive and equitable experiences. It is our mission to increase respect for parent voice and the importance of parent engagement of all students regardless of race, gender, religion or ethnicity. We award a $500 annual scholarship to a graduating senior. To date A.P.P.L.E. has awarded $7500 in scholarship to 11 students over the last 7 years.
